Finding Nana


Stacey Evans

Stacey left Guildford School of Acting with the Graduate Acting Award and has subsequently worked in film, television and theatre. Her recent work includes: Wolves are Coming for You for Pentabus, Kids in Love for Ealing Studios and Seat 25, Winner of Best British Film at the London Film Awards and Best Feature Film at Birmingham Film Festival. Other theatre includes Vernon God Little for Burn Bright Theatre, the 2017 Edinburgh run of The Wedding Reception for Interactive Theatre International, Blitz and Shelter for The Nuffield Theatre and for Forest Forge Theatre Company Anne of Green Gables, The Phoenix and the Carpet and Free Folk by award winning playwright Gary Owen. Stacey also writes and films her own comedy sketches and occasionally attempts to perform stand up comedy.

Plays include: All The Little Lights (Fifth Word, UK tour, Arcola Theatre), Watching The Living – an adaptation of two short stories by Daphne Du Maurier (New Perspectives, UK tour), Swimming (Menagerie Theatre, Hotbed Festival, Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Festival), and Bones (Fifth Word, Edinburgh Festival and UK tour).

Jane was joint winner of the George Devine Award 2016 for her play All The Little Lights which was also nominated for Best Play at the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards 2017. It is published by Nick Hern Books.

Jane attended Stephen Jeffreys' Advances in Scriptwriting RADA, received a bursary from the Peggy Ramsay Foundation and was shortlisted for CBBC New Voices Initiative.

Sound Designer - Arun Ghosh

Arun is a British-Asian clarinettist, composer and musical director. He has released three critically acclaimed albums, Northern Namaste, Primal Odyssey and A South Asian Suite, on camoci records. Other significant works in his repertoire include his re-score of feature-length animation The Adventures of Prince Achmed, contemporary dance work A Handful of Dust and programme symphony, Spitalfields Suite. As well as being a key player on the UK jazz scene, Ghosh has worked on over forty professional theatre and dance productions with companies including: Manchester Royal Exchange, Library Theatre, National YouthTheatre, Cardboard Citizens, Akademi Dance and Kali Theatre. He worked with Tamasha as composer on Child of the Divide, on the verbatim play, My Name Is... and more recently on Made in India (Tamasha, Coventry Belgrade, Pilot Theatre). Arun Ghosh is an Associate Artist of The Albany Theatre and Spitalfields Music (2014), and recently completed his post as Musician in Residence of Wuhan, China in association with the British Council.
